VASHI Love Wall

The VASHI Love Wall is a permanent interactive installation designed for flagship and international retail locations, evolving an established brand ritual into a digitally preserved, spatially responsive experience.

Visitors create handwritten messages on iPads, which are transmitted to a large-format display and rendered as animated, hand-drawn forms within a continuously evolving particle-based visualization. Each message retains its unique motion and character, becoming part of a growing, curated archive.

To further animate the installation, a depth camera mounted above the display detects the silhouettes and movement of people in front of the wall. This spatial input subtly influences the particle system—gently displacing messages and modulating color and motion—creating a sense of presence and responsiveness without disrupting the contemplative nature of the experience.

The system supports user profiles, cross-visit message retrieval, daily cloud synchronization between international stores, and staff-controlled moderation and visual scheduling. Visual moods evolve procedurally throughout the day and seasons, while remaining adaptable to active retail campaigns.

I owned the technical design and delivery of the complete interactive system, spanning real-time graphics, spatial sensing, distributed infrastructure, and long-term deployment in live retail environments. I also led technical decision-making across hardware selection, software architecture, and specialist integration.

• Designed and implemented the full system architecture across wall installation, iPad applications, sensor input, messaging infrastructure, and cloud services
